Carina and Martin Simpson-Hughes founded Howling Bear because they kept seeing the same gap, organisations with important stories to tell, and films that didn't do those stories justice.
Martin grew up the son of a seamstress. Carina the daughter of a market trader. They were both the first in their families to go to university. That background matters, it shapes how they walk into a room, how they listen, and the kind of stories they believe are worth telling.
Over a decade later the company they built works across TV drama, documentary, charity and brand film, with the NHS, national charities, broadcasters and businesses who have something genuine to say.
