The Requirement & Brief Fulfilment
Berkshire Healthcare wanted to highlight their outstanding apprenticeship programme, and create a film that could be used to demonstrate their broad range of apprenticeship options to potential recruits. In addition, the film would be used to showcase the programme to staff and stakeholders. The key was to ensure that the film represented both the more ‘expected’ programs within the trust, such as nursing, whilst also highlighting the less commonly thought of programmes, such as technology, digital and web design through to business management. The film needed to showcase the apprenticeship scheme as an attractive route to gaining degree level qualifications, without the need to go to university and potentially accrue the associated debt following course completion. The film would highlight that with Berkshire Healthcare the same degrees could be achieved debt free, and whilst earning a salary.
Howling Bear worked in partnership with Berkshire Healthcare to produce the desired film, which was used at various recruitment road shows and fairs to promote the apprenticeship programme within the trust and attract new talent. The feedback from Staff, Stake Holders and Directors alike was very favourable. Our senior contact within the Trust said,
"We have been working with Howling Bear for several years now and they have become our ‘go-to’ film company. We have a strong and growing demand for good quality film and Howling Bear are always able to deal with whatever we throw at them. Our films range in complexity and length but our timescales are always met (even those with a very tight turn around), our brand is always adhered to and the end product is always excellent. As you can imagine with the pressure on our NHS front line teams, we have to carefully plan any filming they are involved in and Howling Bear are always sympathetic and flexible to accommodate this. They also show great initiative when filming live events and are always happy to provide valuable creative input when asked. Howling Bear are the complete package as far as we’re concerned. I suspect we are not the easiest client to deal with but they are always responsive, and friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they provide us with a quality service that we rely on to deliver multiple films for both internal and external audiences each year."
